My MonkiSee Experience
MonkiSee is a collection of DVDs and flashcards that help teach babies to read. The MonkiSee Reading Program includes 5 DVDs and 4 sets of flashcards.
I stumbled upon MonkiSee while searching for a reading program for my son. I had heard of Your Baby Can Read , but after reading some good reviews for MonkiSee I decided to go with it instead. MonkiSee attracted me for a few reasons, first off it is cheaper than Your Baby Can Read. Secondly, from the reviews I read I could tell that everyone who used the program was happy with the product, they all said that their babies loved the program and were recognizing words from the videos. I also looked at a few YouTube clips of some of the videos. As soon as I pushed play on the sample clip and some music came on my little boy came over and sat mesmerized for the few minuets the clip lasted! I could tell that he liked the clip. After playing a few more clips for him he was hooked. So I decided to order the complete kit with all of the DVDs and flashcards. The customer service was great, I spoke with a nice lady who gave me some more information about the products before I ordered.
After using the DVDs and flashcards for a few months I have noticed some amazing results. My son learned all of his body parts and colors. He loves the videos! He brings the videos to me every day to put on for him. He has started saying words that are not common in our house such as "elbow pads". At first I was awestruck, wondering where he was hearing these words since they are not very common in our house. Then one day while watching one of the videos with him a clip came on for elbow that showed a girl putting on elbow pads. I realized that all of these new words he was saying were from the MonkiSee DVDs. MonkiSee is great, my son loves watching the DVDs and I love watching him have fun!
My son loves the flashcards too. We look at the word first then discuss the picture on the back. I have to put the flash cards up, because he would want to look at them all day if I didn't. We look at the flash cards at least two times a day, though he would like to look at them even more! He is really eager to learn, and is enjoying this learning process with MonkiSee.
MonkiSee has become a big part of our lives. My son loves the program, and is learning so much from it! The videos have great music, puppets and poetry. I love the use of language in the videos, my son is getting exposed to words that he might otherwise never hear in our house because of these videos! I hope that this review will influence you to try the MonkiSee Reading Program. It has changed our lives for the better!

My 22 month old does NOT watch tv-nothing captures her attention. I just bought the Monkisee Vol 1 video, and she loves it! It is the only movie that has ever caught her attention for any length of time. If she comes into the living room, and the monkey movie is not on, she yells "Uh Oh!"

The DVDs are very entertaining, which is great since my baby normally won't sit for a long time to watch something! I feel like my baby is learning a lot from these DVDs, and it is better for him to watch something educational than other DVDs which will not each him anything!
Wow, that is awesome that your son is doing so well with the program! I also have MonkiSee, and I have noticed that my baby learned all her colors and shapes (plus some body parts)She is doing really well! We are really enjoying using MonkiSee too! Thanks for the great review!!

I just wanted to let you know that this is the best product out there to
teach your baby to read. I have had this product for about a month, and
my 18 month old knows his body parts now and knows green and blue now. He
asks to watch "the moneys" all the time. If we would let him the monkeys
would be on all the time. I recommend this product to everyone I know and
see that has little ones. This is the most amazing product ever.
